Paul Gillespie is a Senior Vice President and Senior Client Portfolio Manager with Nuance and is a co-owner of the firm.

Prior to joining Nuance in 2014, Paul spent seven years in institutional equity sales at both Wunderlich Securities and Morgan Keegan & Co. He was responsible for investment and research ideas and sales related activities for the investment and hedge fund industries. Prior to working in institutional equity sales, he served for two years at Morgan Keegan in an Equity Research role covering enterprise storage technology. In his research role, Paul worked on detailed company investment reports and building company models.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.

Katie Carver

Katie Carver is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Nuance and is a co-owner of the firm. She has more than 17 years of investment firm operations experience. She joined the firm in November 2008 and was the lead of the operations, analytics, and trading teams for five years. During that time, she helped manage the strategy openings and monitored portfolios for compliance, client reporting and audit processes as well as implementing trade strategies and operating procedures.

She left the firm in 2014 to manage the trading, data, and quality assurance teams of another RIA, Creative Planning, for seven years. In her role at Creative, she managed the trading, implementation, analytics, and integration teams for technology initiatives, specializing in high-net-worth clients.

She returned to the firm in 2021 to oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm and to lead all operations and technology initiatives at Nuance.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Management from the University of Kansas and a Series 65 license.

Rossy Esenberg, IACCP®

Rossy Esenberg is a Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Nuance and is a co-owner of the firm. She oversees all aspects of the Firm’s compliance program.

Rossy has more than 17 years of compliance experience. Prior to joining Nuance in 2014, she worked in a similar role at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. She was responsible for the risk, supervisory, and compliance functions of a branch focused on working with ultra-high net worth individuals. Prior to working at Morgan Stanley, she was at Smith Barney, where she oversaw all day-to-day operations of Chicago area bank-based branches. Rossy currently holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation, and she held the Series 7, 9, 10, 66 and 31 while at her previous position.

Rossy holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from the University of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Jenny McBee, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), is a Vice President and Senior Client Portfolio Manager for Nuance and is a co-owner of the firm. Her responsibilities include business development and client services. 

Jenny has more than 19 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Nuance in 2015, she was a Senior Investment Analyst and Relationship Manager at Security Benefit. She oversaw more than 50 asset manager relationships and provided investment recommendations for annuity and retirement plan products. Jenny held the Series 7 and 63 while at Security Benefit. Prior to working at Security Benefit, she served as Client Service Manager and an Investment Advisor Representative at Larmer & Elstun, LLC.

Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Kansas. Jenny is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.

Ben Becker is the Vice President and Director of Data and Quantitative Research at Nuance and is a co-owner of the firm. He oversees all of Nuance’s investment data. He also supports the Investment Team’s Quantitative Screening efforts by maintaining internal screening tools. 

Prior to joining Nuance in 2015, Ben worked in the investments department at Shelter Insurance Companies where he supported multiple investment teams. His duties included equity analysis, asset allocation data studies, as well multiple quantitative and data projects. Prior to Shelter, he interned with Edward Jones Investments.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with an emphasis in Economics and Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the University of Missouri. Geoff Greene is the Vice President and Director of Trading and Portfolio Operations for Nuance and is a co-owner of the firm. He oversees all of Nuance’s trading functions, as well as portfolio operations related initiatives.

Joining Nuance in 2014, Geoff initially served as an Equity Trader and Associate Director of Risk and Trading Operations before transitioning to his current role. In addition to trading, he focused on portfolio management systems, portfolio accounting systems and enhancing process workflows. Prior to joining Nuance, Geoff taught Survey of Business Finance at the University of Missouri.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from Missouri State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the University of Missouri. Geoff is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.

Dustin Meza is the Senior Compliance Officer for Nuance. He works directly with the CCO to oversee all aspects of the Firm’s compliance program.

Dustin has more than 21 years of compliance experience. Prior to joining Nuance, he was the Manager, BD and IA Compliance at Thrivent. Dustin and his team were responsible for the compliance oversight and supervisory exam programs of the wealth manager. Prior to Thrivent, Dustin was the Director, IA Compliance for Waddell & Reed Inc. where he served as a compliance subject matter expert for the wealth manager’s RIA business.

Dustin held the Series 4, 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses in his previous positions. Dustin holds a Bachelor of Business (BBA) in Finance from Washburn University.
