During his time at the Wisconsin School of Business, Trip served on the executive board of Capital Management Club, a student-run investment club focused on security analysis.

Trip holds Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in Finance and Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Laurie Kirby

Laurie Kirby is Co-Owner and Research Consultant for the firm. Laurie served as a Senior Investment Analyst with Nuance from 2011-2022 and focused on the Materials and Industrials sectors. Laurie has more than 24 years of investment experience and 12 years of experience using a classic value approach.

Prior to joining Nuance, Laurie spent nearly 10 years as a Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst with American Century Investments (ACI). Prior to working with ACI she was an Investment Analyst at Waddell and Reed.

Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Missouri.
